What’s in it?

Death of a character3/5
Why this rating?

Miss Treason dies, and seasonal death and rebirth are central to the resolution; grief is handled within a mythic fantasy framework.

Graphic injury1/5
Why this rating?

Very mild; focus is on magic and fantasy settings rather than physical injury.

Strong language1/5
Why this rating?

The available evidence does not show strong language; any language concerns appear limited to mild, occasional expressions.

Romance3/5
Why this rating?

Tiffany is pursued by the Wintersmith, while Roland is an incipient love interest; romance is important but age-appropriate and not sexually focused.

Frightening scenes4/5
Why this rating?

A persistent supernatural pursuer, dangerous winter, buried homes, an ice palace, and memory-eating creatures create sustained, high-intensity peril.

Alcohol or drugs1/5
Why this rating?

The supplied passages show no substance use. Setting-based references to alcohol may occur, but appear minor and non-central.

Violence3/5
Why this rating?

Sword training, fights with supernatural creatures, pursuit, and threats to people and animals occur; violence is fantastical rather than graphic.
